Hey guys! I am so excited to be bringing you my October favorites! I am especially excited because I have finally found an icecream equivalent that doesn't irritate my lactose intolerance so obviously that had to be included this month in my favorites! Let's get started!
Journal

I recently started journaling. In the past, I have been really inconsistent with journaling so it wasn't my favorite thing but recently, I thought it would help my anxiety so I decided to give it a try again. It's a good place for me to kind of vent, get my feelings out and really just write out prayers or anything that is causing me anxiety. This journal is awesome! The pages are perforated so it makes it perfect for if you use it for school or if you would want to rip a page out. It's also a really big journal so there's plenty of space to get everything down on paper. Not to mention, it's so cute! I actually got it at CVS if you can believe it! They had a huge selection of notebooks and journals and I picked this super cute one because I love the combo of pink and black! Definitely been one of my favorites for the month.
Burt's Bees Coconut and Pear Lip Balm

For so long I thought all lip balms were created equal and I thought Burt's Bees was just hyped up and overpriced. Boy was I wrong. I decided to try this lip balm in the coconut and pear flavor and I am so blown away. It isn't waxy like a lot of other brands and it really sinks in and doesn't just sit on top of the lips. It moisturizes sooooo well and I don't miss those waxy lip balms. This flavor is just amazing as well. I love the blend of coconut and pear and it's a subtle tropical taste. Heading into the colder months, I am so excited to have a go-to lip balm.
L'Oreal Pro Matte Gloss in Shanghai Scarlet

Here we go again with my love for L'Oreal lip products. This gloss is no different. The name is kind of an oxymoron. It is so opaque and smooth and creamy, I can't get over it. I was on the hunt for a true red lip color that didn't have an orange undertone and wasn't matte. This "gloss" isn't a true gloss but it isn't fully matte either. It's just the perfect mix and it's a true red so it means it has a blue undertone that won't make your teeth look yellow and is amazing on fair skin tones like mine. Definitely a must for the upcoming holiday season!
Yasso Frozen Greek Yogurt-Sea Salt Caramel Bars

This is the product I was talking about earlier that doesn't irritate my lactose intolerance! I've found that because yogurt has a lot of probiotics, it doesn't cause stomach upset with my lactose intolerance so I am sooooo excited about that. I love yogurt and especially ice cream so I was so sad when I realized it was causing my tummy issues and breaking me out. Enter Yasso Greek Frozen Yogurt. Yasso has pints of frozen greek yogurt in all the amazing flavors that ice cream usually has but with half the calories and just as much creaminess! If you are lactose intolerant, I highly recommend you try this because I've had a lot of success with it. The Sea Salt Caramel bars are my favorite! They're only 100 calories and they are sooooooo creamy. They taste just like ice cream and are so satisfying. I am officially obsessed :)
Steve Laurant Blush in Rosé All Day

This blush is everything. It is matte, super pigmented and blends so well! I love this shade because it's the perfect mauve pink for fall. It goes with every look and I just can't recommend it enough! I also love the shade name. So cute!
I hope you try out some of my favorite from this month! You won't regret it!
XO,
Gabby
