Get to Know Me Part 2

Hi lovelies! It's Friday again! Joey and I are starting to move our stuff into our new apartment tomorrow! I am so excited! We're mainly moving all of our shower gifts and some non-essential things into the apartment just so we can get them out of his parents' house. All our gifts have taken over their house completely. His poor parents. 

Today, I'm gonna do a part two to the Get to Know Me I did a little while ago. I love reading these types of blog posts so I wanted to do another one just so y'all can get to know me a little better. 

1. What is your favorite Bible verse?

Philippians 4:6 and 2 Timothy 1:7. I just think these verses are so encouraging and they always lift me up when I need it. 

Philippians 4:6 - Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (NIV)

2 Timothy 1:7 - For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. (NLT - My favorite translation)

2. When is your birthday?

My birthday is September 1st. I really love my birthday. It's so easy to remember and I love the month of September. And my birthday is still technically summer so it's still nice and warm and even hot! It always used to fall on the first week of school and I liked that because I wasn't bored of school yet and I got to see all my friends!

3. What is your favorite cocktail?

This is an easy one. I looove whiskey sours. Idk why but I remember trying it in a bar one time and loving it and that's been my go-to drink ever since. 

4. Are you an early bird or a night owl?

Definitely without a doubt I am an early bird. I suck at staying up late. I've always always always woken up early. I just feel like I've wasted my day if I don't get up by 7:30. I don't even have to set an alarm usually. I'm usually up by 6:30. I know, some of you are cringing so much right now ;)

5. What fictional character would you want to be?

I would absolutely love to be Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl. She's just so super fabulous, speaks French (I dabble) and dresses impeccably. She's also a Brunette so extra points for that. Brunette power!

6. What is your favorite book?

I don't know if I could narrow it down to one book. I'll narrow it down to my 2 favorite series. I absolutely love the Harry Potter series. J.K. Rowling is a genius. The characters and plot lines are just so well thought out and intertwine so beautifully. Ugh, if you don't like Harry Potter, we can't be friends...well we can...you're just wrong ;) My other favorite series is the Maze Runner series. I'm usually not into Utopian society kinds of books but this series was so good. Once again, I really think the character development is great and James Dashner's descriptions are so vivid. The movies can't even live up to the books. 

7. What is your favorite flower?

Peonies. These are the most gorgeous flowers in my opinion. They're super fluffy and just so pretty to look at. It seriously sucks that they're only in bloom for 1-2 months. I kind of centered my wedding date around when Peonies were in bloom because they were a necessity. 

8. What is your favorite candy?

Hands down my favorite candy is Raisinets. It made me sad that when I found out I was Lactose intolerant and I wasn't going to be able to eat them but then my mom discovered they have a dark chocolate kind and all was right with the world. Raisinets are a weird candy but I love them. 

9. Who is your favorite Youtuber?

There is no question that Tati Westbrook is my favorite Youtuber. She's been doing Youtube for so long and she reviews and does makeup tutorials and she's so good at it. I just love watching her! Joey will walk into the room and hear her voice and be like "Are you watching Tati again?" :) She's so dramatic sometimes and I just love it. If you haven't watched her, go do it. You won't regret it.
