My Bridal Shower

Happy Friday Y'all! It is finally April and less than 2 months until my wedding day! OH MY GOODNESS!!!! Joey and I were approved for an adorable apartment this week and we just can't wait to start moving things in in May! Everything is happening so quickly! I can't believe we're getting married in just 2 months! Today I'm going to be sharing all about my Bridal Shower! It was such a beautiful day and my mom planned a gorgeous shower. I wouldn't have wanted it any other way!

My shower was at a gorgeous restaurant called Blackwall Hitch in downtown Annapolis. The restaurant has very nautical decor so it was the perfect backdrop for my shower. It was a gorgeous day and I got to see so many friends and family that I don't get to see very often! The time went by so fast! I blinked and it was over. Joey and I absolutely love the tv show FRIENDS so my mom contacted our family friend who does beautiful cakes and had her make a FRIENDS themed cake. It was absolutely amazing! She incorporated some of our favorite quotes from the show and the little quirks that make the show so great. Mrs. Joy is doing our wedding cake as well and I just know it's going to be incredible! If you're in the market for an amazing cake, definitely hit up Sweet Treats by Joy! I'm such a control freak so it was hard not to be able to choose anything or plan anything for my shower. My mom kept saying, "you're not the one planning it". I have a problem ;)

My favorite moment of the shower was when I was opening some rather cheeky lingerie and Joey's face got really red but he said "I hope there are more of those"! Oh my gosh the whole room died :D So funny!

I absolutely wanted to wear white. This is the only time in your life when white is your color and your color only. I really wanted to live it up. I got my dress from Lulus! I had my eye on it for a while and I just love the skirt and the back. I'm a sucker for a good skater dress and the fact that it was backless was just icing on the cake.

I was absolutely obsessed with my shoes!!! They're by Jessica Simpson and the color is just fabulous. Mauve is one of my favorite colors. They're satin and have a little bow on the back that adds a girly touch. They're dainty enough to go with the dress and just brought the whole look together. I wore the earrings Joey got me for Christmas that I love! They're rose gold so they went really well with my shoes. They're super unique!

We got so many beautiful gifts and we're so blessed by our friends and family! It was a day I'll never forget <3
