Hey y'all! I am beyond excited to write this post because I am always on the hunt for great drugstore makeup finds! I have finally found a few drugstore foundations that are gorgeous and long lasting! I am all about drugstore makeup because I am always wary about high end makeup. I don't want to buy it and end up hating it and then have wasted so much money! Nobody likes that feeling. That's not to say I don't use high end makeup because I totally love it but I have to do a ton of research before I'll buy it. With the drugstore, there's not as much risk because everything is significantly cheaper but it's always fun to find out what works for other people and try them for yourself! So I'm gonna break down a few drugstore foundations that I just love and that work super well for me! It took me freaking forever to find a foundation that worked for me so I can't wait to share these with you!

L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation

So the first drugstore foundation that I'm totally obsessed with is the L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation. I tend to have normal to oily skin so this foundation is a Godsend! It says it has a demi-matte finish but I think it's definitely an ultra matte finish which is why it works so well for oily and normal skin! It claims to be 24 hour wear and it totally lives up to the claim. It lasts all day long! It doesn't tend to oxidize either which is soooo nice! It doesn't break down or make my face more oily and keeps my face from getting shiny! They have about 11 shades which isn't super extensive but not a bad range. I'm usually shade 101 in the winter and 102 in the summer when I'm tan. Definitely a solid foundation for oily and normal skin. For dry skin they also have a dewy option or Pro-Glow as well! I've never tried it but if it's anything like the matte foundation, you're in for a treat! This is at the higher end of the drugstore foundation price range but it's totally worth it. I even like that it's in a little squeezy bottle so it makes it easy to apply! All around this foundation is a winner!

Maybelline FIT ME! Matte and Poreless Foundation

The Maybelline FIT ME! Matte and Poreless Foundation is the newest one I've tried and I'm pretty impressed with it. Like the L'Oreal Infallible foundations, they also have a dewy option as well which is great because they have a range for all skin types. This collection has 42 shades which is, by far, the biggest range of shades I've seen a drugstore brand have! Kudos to you Maybelline for realizing everyone doesn't have the same skin tone! The only drawback on this foundation is the packaging. I kind of hate glass bottles with no way to get the product out. I really wish it had a pump but it is possible to buy pumps that screw on from third parties so it's an easy fix. Other than the packaging, I am in love with this foundation because it makes my skin look and feel so soft and smooth! It's not super full coverage but it's not transparent like a BB cream either. The L'Oreal foundation is definitely more full coverage but Maybelline just announced at NYFW that they're releasing a full coverage foundation in November! Needless to say I'm waiting with bated breath. But you're definitely getting a great deal with the price of this foundation! I'd recommend this to anyone!

L'Oreal Paris True Match Lumi Healthy Luminous Makeup

The L'Oreal Paris True Match Lumi Foundation is one of my favorite foundations in the history of foundations and it just breaks my heart because it totally doesn't work for my skin type *tear*. But even though it makes my skin waaaay oily, it was still one of my favorites so I thought I'd share it. L'Oreal does have the regular True Match Foundation that is better for normal to dry skin that I haven't tried but I will be soon. I did love the beautiful glow that the lumi foundation gave me when I did use it. It just made my skin look so healthy! By the middle of the day, though, my skin would be so oily and it would just wipe right off so it definitely is not for oily skin. It also has a pump which is so convenient! It comes in 14 shades which, like the Infallible foundation, is a good but not great range of shades. This foundation is a lighter coverage foundation which isn't my favorite but it's buildable and when all else fails, there's always concealer. This foundation is about mid range in terms of price so it's not a bad deal at all. This foundation also comes in a cushion which I just find to be so strange. I don't know how easy that would be to apply but to each his own. This foundation is also the only foundation that I've really been able to find a shade that matches my skin tone perfectly so I was super upset when I realized it didn't work for me. Overall, a great foundation for dry skin types!

This is just a little side tip but when applying foundation, matte foundations especially, using a damp beauty blender sponge is your best bet for a flawless application! The inside is soaked with water so it's not soaking in much product which helps the foundation go on smoothly! My life was changed when I learned that!

I hope this helps you find the best drugstore foundation for you! If you have a drugstore foundation that you love, comment down below and let me know! I'd love to try it out!
